Terms and Conditions

Please limit changes to your itinerary (the date of your visit or the selection of programs) to one. More than one change or the cancellation of your visit will incur a $25 administrative fee per change, plus applicable taxes. We recommend the following student / adult ratio: JK to Grade 2 - 2 : 1 Grade 3 to Grade 8 - 3 : 1 Grade 9 to Grade 12 - 5 : 1 Additional supervisors beyond the recommended ratio will pay an admission fee of $10 for Science North and $10 for Dynamic Earth. All supervising adults will pay for IMAX and Planetarium (Plus applicable taxes). A minimum of 30 people is required to view the IMAX film and a minimum of 18 people is required to participate in a Planetarium school experience. If your group does not meet the minimum number, a surcharge of $6 plus applicable taxes per person will be added to your invoice to meet this requirement. A non-refundable deposit of $100 per school group, $300 per Camp-in group is required. This deposit is waived for Member schools. Payment is required upon arrival at Science North or at Dynamic Earth. Please bring a school cheque, Visa or MasterCard to pay the full amount of the invoice, net of your deposit. Cheques should be made payable to Science North and include your school’s name, invoice number and visit date. Prices are subject to change without notice. We will honour committed pricing where your booking has been confirmed and secured with your deposit. Your visit is not confirmed until you have received our confirmation letter (including your itinerary and invoice) via email, and we have received your deposit.
